Acceptance and Tokens

Moving over a long road.
To a destination far away hidden.
The chill of coming November.
Unable to affect the warmth inside.

Flowing music getting heady.
Spells in the air, under the October moon's azure blur.
The moon shines brightly over the wet grass.
As a pair of eyes watch with warmth, enamoured by the other.

A kiss in the blissful night.
The softness and fondness in the embrace.
Multitudes of colours formed spontaneously.
As the road back home, more pleasant than before.

Acceptance past midnight.
The limits of joy unknown.
Befuddled mind, yet ecstatic all the same.
As the voices in the night carry on.

Two days later, the voices see each other.
A token of love is shown.
As music fills up candle-lit November's air.
Warmth wells up again, now its source well known.

PS. Tokens can even be from the other side!

Nice, especially these lines: "A kiss in the blissful night.
The softness and fondness in the embrace.
Multitudes of colours formed spontaneously.
As the road back home, more pleasant than before."

Answers are no longer a mystery,
Found in the warmth of a love, so strange...
Looking for nothing in some bright emptiness,
A smile in the moonlight recognized its source...

Beautiful snap btw... ;-)
looks more like a painting :P

@Dimi :
The love, strange yet fulfilling.
The emptiness seemingly burnt away.
And the answers give way to more meaningful questions.
And the smiles endear longer than ever before.

Yeah, sure is a beautiful picture, isn't it? :-)

@Dimi : Of course you get them!
And considering it's a picture and not a painting, I think I know for a fact that they're in love. ;)
