A spark like a fire.
The prismatic hues of a crazy diamond.
And the love of a heart.
Of a child forlorn and in need
Of a lover.
I am that man.
As I lie washed on the sands of the
beaches.
A band of metal slips onto my finger.
The third finger for music.
As though put there by the ocean
herself.
And the ocean dowses my pain with her
salt.
Washes away my sorrows forever.
And as I give myself away to its loving
warmth
And let myself be washed away in the
tide
I know that
I have known a bond of love.
So special.
My spirit feels disjoint no more.
And I swim free into the depths of the
unknown.
The eyes in which I see an uncharted
ocean beckon.
And I fly to them with my heart set
free.

So good to see a new post!
Loved the last four lines. :-) missed your writing all these days.
Very deep. :)
That band of metal that holds your finger and touches your heart every time light bounces off the crystal's ends is yours to keep, A promise made; for you now belong to the Ocean's breasts and yet you know you shall never sink even in the deepest deep.
:-)
Well I definitely was the first person to comment but thanks to technicalities, it wasn't published.
I love the picture and the way the ring owns the ocean. Beautiful!
Umm and may I say, thank you? :-)
ahh.. a post after a longgg time!!
"The eyes in which I see an uncharted ocean beckon." powerful, moving words.
and yeah, beautiful image...
@Enchanta : Since you had indeed commented first, I am replying to you first.
A man owned is a man kept. That band has sunk deep into the blue depths of my own. Don't thank me, please. The Ocean owns and bestows the ring upon a lucky man. That man is me. So, thank you. :-)
@Antara : Thanks a lot. :)
It's really good to be back in this world. I don't know how much I missed it myself.
@Kirti : Thanks a lot. I've been meaning to write for a long time. It came at long last. :)
@Nikita : Thank you. :)
